No, not the hit TV series...
When Challenge Services approached us to
create a new website, their needs were simple.
They needed a new website that would rank
well in the search engines, they needed
us to update their old site so that it would
rank well in the search engines, they needed
to make their catalogs viewable on the websites,
and they needed it done quickly. Considering
that they generate most of their business
from search engine traffic, the search engine
rankings were critical. And since they were
in the highly competitive fundraising industry,
typical searches contained several hundred
thousand results.
CSI had already hired several providers
in the past to tweak their website for search
engine placement, but with very limited
results. So when another customer of SynergyMP
referred CSI to us, they didn't have high
expectations of reaching "Top Ten"
results for the keywords that they wanted
to hit.
Well, we designed the new website (www.fundraising.us)
from the beginning to be search engine "friendly",
while also having a clean
appearance
that was easy to use and loaded quickly.
Within a couple of months of the initial
launch
of the
new
website and the updated old website, they
were both consistently ranking in the first,
second or third spots for those
keywords that CSI wanted to hit! This
was extremely
impressive since the typical search returned
several hundred thousand pages and
the CSI
sites had only been active for a couple
of months! Now, they were getting almost
10,000 unique visitors per month to their
sites!
Also, CSI began to use our OptinMaximizer
application (Contact
us for a demo) to offer dynamic content
to website visitors that had subscribed
to their email newsletter. They now have
over 20,000 email addresses that receive
their newsletter! This has proved to be
an excellent method to communicate with
all those visitors to the websites, and
to say in touch with promotions and updates
quite inexpensively.
We also dressed up CSI's marketing materials
with the design and printing of full color
brochures, postcards, order forms and more.
